HR CLERK SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS

A qualification at NQF stage 6 in Human Resource Management/ Industrial Psychology/ Public
Administration or applicable qualification. Knowledge of and confirmed ride in PERSAL will
be an advantage. Sound understanding of the Public Service legislation, i.e., Public Service Act,
Public Service Regulations,

Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, etc.
Good verbal and writing skills. Knowledge of the Policy and Procedure on Incapacity go away and
Ill-health Retirement (PILIR), depart management, provider benefits, and provider terminations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word). A legitimate driver’s license.


DUTIES for HR CLERK SUPERVISOR

Administer the implementation of carrier benefits. Process go away applications, go away gratuity,
and depart discounting. Conduct quarterly go away reconciliation. Process on-line withdrawal of
pension benefits. Ensure correct and up to date taking pictures of statistics on PERSAL. Quality assures
application varieties for resignation, retirement, and deceased officials.

Request PERSAL
compliance reports. Verify calculations of Subsistence & Travel claims and great take a look at all the
attachments. Facilitate the implementation of PILIR in the Department. Draft correspondence
for approval of guidelines made by using Health Risk Manager for the signature of the
Accounting Officer.

HR CLERK SUPERVISOR

Draft correspondence to personnel related to software for incapacity
leave. Serve as Departmental consultant on the PILIR Steering Committee.
