REQUIREMENTS : Grade eight certificates or ABET degree four or NQF leve1 – three with no experience. Performing General
Assistant responsibilities will be an introduced advantage. Must be capable to write and read. Good interpersonal
skills. Good Verbal and written verbal exchange skills. Self – motivated. A legitimate riding licence will
be an introduced advantage.


DUTIES

Ensure instant transport and protected retaining of information. Delivery of archives inside and other
departments. Photocopying and faxing documents. Render transport offerings for provincial
library staff. Ferry officers and stakeholders to departmental events. Report all defects to the
relevant official. Perform widely wide-spread assistant work.

Load and off load furniture, equipment, and any
other items to applicable destination. Collection and transport of gadgets and correspondence. Collect
and supply mail to a variety of offices. Load and offload furniture, equipment, and any different items to
relevant destinations. Assist in making photocopies. Paste notices on note board. Provide
cleaning services.

Clean offices, boardroom, and walkways. Clean applicable workstations
(workshops and exhibition rooms). Clean commonplace kitchen. Clean restrooms (check rest room paper).
Keep and preserve cleansing substances and equipment. Report damaged cleansing machines and
equipment. Clean machines (microwaves, vacuum) and gear after use. Request cleaning
material. Prepare venue for features and meetings. Prepare and wash all utensils to be used
(kettle, cups, saucers, glasses, and jugs).

Prepare tea in the course of meetings. Assist at some point of functions.
Perform any different obligations associated to typical assistant work that might also occur or tasked via the
supervisor.
